Birth Preparation Sessions ~ $400

3 x 2-hour private birth prep sessions

These sessions, held within the comfort of your own home, support you and your birthing partner on your journey towards feeling informed and ready for your upcoming birth.

The focus of these sessions is on:

• listening to your story and what you are wanting for your birth
• support in documenting a clear and effective birth plan
• sharing evidence-based information and pointing you in the direction of further research and resources
• understanding birth physiology
• sharing information regarding your birthing choices and rights
• tips on communication and advocating for yourselves as you navigate the maternity system
• guiding you with a range of tools that you may like to draw upon such as breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation, rebozo, labour positions, essential oils, massage and acupressure techniques for comfort during labour

The Continuity Birth Doula Package (pregnancy, birth and postpartum) ~ $1350

This package has it all! It offers the best opportunity for us to build a safe, trusting relationship which can be a foundation for feeling well supported throughout your experience.

• 3 pregnancy visits to get to know one another and covering the birth preparation described above

• Text and phone support as needed

• On call for your birth from two weeks before your due date until your baby is born

• Continuous support for your labour and birth

  • If you wish I can support you at home in early labour before joining you in hospital (if that is your chosen birth place)

• Birth photography (I am not a professional photographer, but love to capture some precious memories for you if you wish)

• 3 postpartum visits including a nourishing meal provided each visit – these sessions are tailored to meet your needs on the day, but I am there to hear you, nurture you and help out in practical ways. See types of inclusions listed below as per postpartum packages

If at the time of your birth Covid restrictions are such that doulas are not allowed into birth suite, you may choose from several options, including still having labour support at home and optionally during your car-ride to hospital, continued phone or video support as needed during your birth, a partial refund for services not provided, or additional postpartum visits. If this circumstance arises we can discuss which option or combination of these will suit you best.

Postpartum Doula Packages

Every mama has different needs and I will tailor my support to suit you. Essentially, I am there to nurture you, which may include a combination of:

• Sitting with you and holding space for you to debrief your birth experience and being a listening ear through your mothering experiences
• Preparing nourishing food (e.g., popping on a slow cooked meal for dinner. I will bring ingredients to make a nourishing meal each time. I will cater to any dietary requirements and give you a few options to choose from)
• Light household duties (such as dishes or folding)
• Pampering – for example, while I prep the dinner, let me set you up with a rejuvenating foot soak
• Support with baby-wearing and access to my lending carrier collection to be able to try a few different styles of carriers and see what works for you
• Breastfeeding resources and referral in the case of difficulties
• Share info on services and supports relevant to you that you may wish to connect with
• Tips on building and activating your “village” – for example, guidance with opening yourself to receiving support if this is difficult for you or ideas on communicating your needs to others in your social circle

Nurturing mama postpartum package (8 hours of in-home support) ~ $400

($350 if combining with the Birth Preparation Sessions)

4 x 2-hour home visits including one large nourishing meal provided each visit
